I want to own Final Fantasy VI, but I'm debating with myself whether I should get the SNES version off of eBay or just pick up the GBA version. See, I used to own the SNES version, but I sold it after it erased on me when I was at Kefka's Tower. I loved the game, and I regret selling it, but damn, it sucked losing my data at the very end like that. So I'm a little nervous about getting it for my Super NES again, but then again, I heard bad things about the GBA version like them taking out certain scenes (Celes getting punched), the slowdown, and the audio being downgraded in quality.

I'm sure there was already a thread like this in the past, but I didn't see it so I went ahead and made my own. Anyways, can someone help me make my decision?

Personally, I'd say buy the GBA and emulate the SNES if you really want to experience the oldschool version (though personally after playing the RPGOne retranslation, it's hard for me to go back to that Woosley'd mess)...although, ACTUALLY, I'd just say fudge it and emulate 'em both! HA!

Well, I decided to pick up the GBA version. The graphics don't seem as smooth as it did on the SNES, and the music quality is a little lower, but I'm fine with it.
