I wake up from the dream,
searching for you,
I look around; you're not there,
I wonder where you are,
who you're with, what you're doing.

I remember you left,
Gone for good,
Never to hold, or kiss again,
A tear crawls down to my cheek,
Alone like a wolf, I shall live on.
Alone.

I search my heart,
I search my soul
Looking to free myself of pain.
Why does it hurt?
Why do I feel like this?

Loneliness is a hard part of life,
As is love,
The pain; the depression; the loss,
The part where you're...alone...

I look to the abyss,
and see a light...I have hope,
I reach for it, don't look back
...I see you crying...Alone...
Never to hold...never to kiss...alone forever.
