Time passes by; my only wish is that I could freeze it
Everyday I wake up, forgetting what I’ve once said
I can’t ever keep a moment, once can’t last forever
Feels like just yesterday I was 5 years old

Wanting the impossible of being with you forever
Everyday I wake up, forgetting what I’ve once done
A life will fade one before the other, no way to stop it
Wish this kiss could last for all eternity

Born alone to die alone, but what does it matter
Everyday I wake up, forgetting what once happened
My feelings are numb, because I know in the end it doesn’t matter
Why is it that looking at the time makes it last longer?

Impossible to feel the same pain more than once, does it exist?
Everyday I wake up, forgetting the hurt I’ve once felt.
Close my eyes and the moments gone.
One second, one minute, one hour, one day, one life.

[ Here's a free verse poem i made when i was going through a hard part of my life... I guess i wasn't in touch with reality... I'd like some feedback! ]

Well the theme of the poem is good, as are all classical themes. The poem itself was pretty good, a little feeling of it being long, not that long poems arent good, some long poems are better long. This one just felt like it was a little sluggish in the emotional impact of it. As always though, Im a lover of poems, so do keep up with your good work.

thanks! :D

Although i realised i made a mistake...

Born alone to die alone, but what does it matter
Everyday I wake up, forgetting what once happened
My feelings are numb, because I know in the end it doesn’t matter

I should really fix that.
