Please Help with FFV

I can't defeat the liquid fire when I'm going to get the fire crystal. Can anybody tell me a trick to kill the liquid fire because fira hits me 250 up.

Do you have any black mages? If so, have them cast Ice2 when it can be done. He'll only cast Fire 2 as a counter attack to physical attacks so avoid them as much as you can. He has roughly 3000 hp and Ice 2 will do about 900 or so.

Give that a try to see if it helps.

If the methods FadedLies posted don't seem to work for you (although they should) a fairly quick and easy method to dispose of LiquidFlame is to buy 2 Ice Rods (in Karnak) and use them as an item on the boss.

This guy is weak against ice magics. Don't use any physical abilities.
Just use any ICE attacks and trust me this guy is piece of junk.
