These are more or less the first trailers of it I've seen...I know there's supposed to be a lot of crap going on with this installment of the series...but mostly, I haven't kept up. Good god those battle sequences look amazing in that first trailer! I rarely care about the FMV stuff now-a-days cause it all just looks amazing, really and I don't want to think too much about what it all implies for the story & what-not...

I have to say i don't really get what's going on in the second trailer....
But the first one looks amazing!!! I wonder what the characters will be like.

Umm... Final Fantasy's have always had violence and gore in them.
Just look at FF7 for example, when there is blood stains all over the walls in the Shinra HQ and when Sephiroth goes on a killing streak.

I like the look of both, one was overly bright, one was gothicly dark.

I like the look of both, but I gotta say I kind of prefer the Versus trailer.

I think I've grown out of Final Fantasy. 12 remains uncompleted just because I couldn't care less what happens to the characters after that "alien encounter" scene. :(

Heh. The Versus XIII trailer was just a load of cutscenes. Nothing of actual gameplay has been announced. The multiple swords was a cool idea, but it's really only shown us the cut-scene Graphics.

The XIII Trailer looked far more promising. It actually showed us some shots of possible gameplay, and a lot more of the actual world of FF XIII - it was more revealing.

Saying that, they both used a lot of recycled stuff, so I'm not particularly impressed with both.
