So the five threads have been chosen and now it is up to the good people of FFI to make one of these lucky people January's King/Queen of Spam.
The choices are:
VincentTheEmoGoth - KFT (http://forums.ffinsider.net/showthread.php?t=11433)
The 100 Greatest Quotes from Christian Fundementalists - Monophonic (http://forums.ffinsider.net/showthread.php?t=11548)
"I stabbed a girl at work today" - Astroboy (http://forums.ffinsider.net/showthread.php?t=11446)
Heath Ledger is Dead - Charlie Panayi (http://forums.ffinsider.net/showthread.php?t=11565)
Superbad - SK (http://forums.ffinsider.net/showthread.php?t=11529)

Had a hard time deciding between Mono's and Charlies, but Mono's ended up providing hours of entertainment for me, as I shared it with my family and friends, and we laughed and joked about all of our favourite ones for ages.
So many laughs.
I would have voted Charlie's on the strength to pay respects, but there's actually more arguing on there than anything else, which is a shame.
I hope one of them wins, in any case. :)

VincentTheEmoGoth gave me the most laughs I've had on FFI in a while. Mono's thread was close though, some of those quotes were just epic. It was a tough choice. :(

I voted for Vincenttheemogoth simply because of how many pages and posts are on it.
The subject has changed about 50 times, and the thread is still alive to this day I think that is saying something. It has brought a lot more activity to the forums and for that I hope it wins.

I voted for the Vincenttheemogoth thread, just for being the most barmy thing that's been on here in ages. Plus without it, none of these other threads may have even come along as it seems to have picked up activity on here single-handed.
Plus I don't like seeing Lina and Mord Sith argue on the Heath Ledger thread :(

I voted for Mono's thread. It was too good to pass up.
But if the Vincent thread wins, it sure will be a worthy winner.
As touched as it is to see my thread on there, no one actually nominated it?

I needed a fifth and yours had a lot of posts.

I voted Superbad, out of irony. It was a superbad thread. There, I said what we were all thinking.
VincentTheEmoGoth. Malice made that thread legendary.

voted heath just to see if i could help bring out some competition....
I voted KFT, just to see what color he picks.
KFT.
That thread filled me in on A LOT while I was away.
VincenttheEmoGoth. It started out as brilliant humor (the RACIST!!! should go down in the books) then, like Emi said, it talked about a lot of stuff that happened in the past, then Spike, Bird and I turned it into literature discussion. It has everything!

So like, do the threads made between 26th and 31st January not count towards next months awards? Because Dunky has made two great threads and it sucks if they can't be nominated.

Yeah maybe they can be allowed for next month and from now on start the poll on the first day of each month.

So have nominations throughout February, and then have the official vote on like the first of March?

Yeah, that sounds OK.

I didn't read all of it but I thought the Vincent one was funny.

That's a statement, not a question!

The question mark changes the intonation of what he said. Considering the context, it is correct, even if it is not formal. It's called writing to effect.
It's like. When. I. Write like. This. It's not wrong. It's just. I want. You. To keep. Pausing. Because I find. It. Funny. To imagine. You. Pausing.

It's only correct if you're Australian. It's called 'Stop corrupting our language you overly athletic bunch of kangaroo-botherers!'

Can you mods hand out a small reward to Vincent, when the apparent victory comes about?
I hope we can all see he deserves some positive acknowledgment.

Well I think it's safe to say KFT walked that one.
Somehow I think Dunky is going to be the winner of February's award.
Either that or Turtle. Turtle's posts make me laugh more, but Dunky makes a lot of threads where shit goes down.

This should be decided with a fight to the death, the survivor is victorious and more importantly, the king/queen. Either that or another public vote.

Yeah time to give KFT his Custom user title and rep! I'd do it but have no idea how to :(
