Well here is the story.

Early morning today I was playing Soul Calibur three, gracefully destroying Nightmare with Seigfried, we were both near middle health or so, and suddenly I feel a tingle in my nose, I sneeze once, controller pops out of my hand. After gaining control I see that my butt is being hammered on, before I can react, I sneeze again, opening my eyes to see that I was defeated.

Have any of you lost on any type of game caused by bodily functions?

An itchy nose has caused many a crash in F-Zero GX for me, when I haven't been quick enough to press the pause button. It's the kind of game where the slightest lapse in attention leaves your vehicle wedged in the nearest wall.

Oh, and in addition to nasal itching, in online Mario Kart DS games hairs or dust on the screen, reflected light, distracting noises and poor posture have all on occasion made me slip up. Like, for instance, when I was racing Ariel :o

Happens to me in Geometry Wars. Ill sit their for 5-10 minutes about to beat my high score when BAM my nose or cheek itches. If I don't scratch it I cannot concentrate and If I do scratch it I'll die anyway :-/.

Diablo II. Level 64 Amazon, Hardcore mode. In the caves beneath the desert, had Strafe as my right mouse click, with a 90% chance of piercing strike, or whatever it was that made it go through the target.. Sneezed and accidentally clicked the right mouse button just after entering a room. My eyes reopened to see over 100 electric bolts streaming towards me in response from the beetles I hit, and my character still frozen in the strafe animation. By the time she finished firing, there were over 150 electric bolts coming, the first ones were already upon me, and I was doomed.

Worst sneeze ever. For me, at least, of course. IRL, sneezing while driving can be a very bad thing.

This is such a good thread, sneezes and nose itches are me enemy when playing fighting games much like SC3, or Super Smash Bros, and when I get something in my eye while playing a real time RPG like Radiata Stories or Tales of Symphonia, it's very aggravating,

I sneezed and fell on so many spikes playing Megaman games it isn't funny. The best one was in X3, I think, when I was climbing on top of snails beside spikes and I sneezed and dashed into missle shooty helicopter thing and fell on a flat spike pit and sneezed again and dashed off the flat on and into the one on the right wall. I moved my dash to R2, BTW.

Problem with sneezes is there's usually another to follow, I got caught off guard by a sneaky sneeze while playing BurnOut, after I crashed, I sneezes again and another car hit me, I was double teamed.

Yeah it is a bugger when you sneeze, you have to close your eyes it is impossible for them to be open, they will shoot out if you do. It can be very frustrating it puts you off.

Ever get a wandering itch? It'll start off in one place, u scratch it (when coming up to a hairpin turn ¬_¬) and then it'll run away all over your body and you haffta scratch all over to get it? That just me? Please someone back me up lol. Or my dog has the habit of jumping on the bed, right in front of me, jump on my controller wire which throws the controller outta my hand and then I die on the serisouly hard bit I've worked so hard to try and do lol
