What's happening with ronaldo...what happened to the guy who has now scored more goals than pele??? He has played absolutely cr*p, he has been missing chances, he runs at about an 1/8th of the pace that he used to and he looks kinda chubby(Not a stab at fat people).
Now I'm not a brazil fan, infact I'm lookin for Italy to win the World cup(Although Argentina will probably do it) but I used to love to watch Ronaldo play, in the days of the 3 R's with Rivaldo and Ronaldinho. He was such an entertaining player and really added a ceretain touch to the world cup. I think he is at the end of career by the looks of him. What you all think?

He looks pretty much past it these days, its just a pity that he never got to play in the Premiership whilst in his prime. Sad demise of a once incredible player.

He has more chance of eating more pies and burgers than scoring goals nowadays.

I can't remember which game it was, but Ronaldo scored a goal from a jumping header, did anyone see that it seemed like he had a hard time getting into the air, must be all the extra flab.

He may not be the player he once was, but he did manage to at least overhaul Gerd Muller's record of 14 World Cup goals before Brazil went out. And though his decline has been pretty bad, he has largely already done everything that could be done anyway (especially in World Cup 2002), and his decline has been less painful then say, George Best's or Diego Maradona's must haven been

I hear u dazza, he does look chubby n rather slow....he kept tumbling along the pitch gasping for breath, n didn't do much to help his team...n now they're out (btw i think that goal henry scored was a mere quincidence)
