Does anyone think that paine in ffx-2 think that she is auron's daughter. It may sound crazy but i almost think so. I mean paine does almost everything that auron has. I mean no one knows how she joined the team in the beginning.

There is no evidence to support this.
Wasn't Auron a monk? I don't think he'd be allowed to go around shagging. He seemed pretty devoted to defeating Sin; doesn't seem like much time for children.

You must have missed the Sphere which shows Jecht and Auron dragging Braska to a whorehouse in Guadosalam.
Paine isn't Auron's daughter. She's just the result of lazy developers essentially copying and pasting a character archetype and giving it boobs.
Paine is no way, shape or form related to Auron, or even Lulu. Stick Auron and Lulu together and you end up with Paine.
Auron is to young to be her father unless Square have decided to endorse teen pregnancy with their characters as Auron would have been 17 when she was born.

I don't think there is any possibility that Paine is auron daughter,it just wouldn't match. but maybe she could be related to Lulu, I don't think so but anyway

Just a rumor. People say this because they act alike. Paines family has never been revealed, thats why fans have been creating these stupid theories.

Not only that, but in one of Jechts sphere's in X, Braska says something along the lines of this
"Such great irony it would be for a fallen summoner, a monk who turned away the hand of the daughter of a maester and a man from Zanarkand to defeat Sin."
So Auron didn't marry that girl, which means he most likely didn't even have sex with her, so (seeing as he was too devoted to the pilgramige) he didn't have the time to father a child. Plus, Paine is too old.

but wasn't there a spere in x about auron mentioning his daughter and he ws saying that she too was good with a sword and he can depart to the farplane because she can look after herself.

Dont know personally i dont beleive the rumour but if garnet is right about the sphere in X then this might have to revised

I've been through FFX so many times I've lost count and I have never seen a sphere where Auron mentions anything about another family member, especially a daughter.
The closest thing to a daughter mentioned in the spheres is in reference to Yuna or to the High Priests daughter who Auron didn't want to marry. Even when he appeared in the FFX-2 sphere, still nothing.

auron could have met te priests daughter before he was asked to marry her and they might have had sex and shecould have become pregnant without him knowing.

jajaja is like say, kuja from ff IX and sephiroth are brothers. Or Cloud are cousin from squall. I have played X like 3 times since the beggining and theres no such sphere in the game, you may have confused with other thing garnet.

He didn't adopt her. If they REALLY wanted to try and work it in, Auron probably would've said something to Paine in the final battles of X-2.
Paine is not his daughter, biologically or otherwise. Paine is merely another stoic sword-using character, in keeping with a well used stereotype.

For all the sources i have read i have came to the conclusion that she isnt coz she doesnt look like him. we would of been young when she was born, plus he would of mentioned it in ffx. so its just a character which uses Aurons moves but isnt related to him. thats that

I noticed the attitude simmilarity too i mean auron is all mysterious and stuff like paine so mabey they are related mabey theyr siblings or father and daughter. Im not sure how but i think that paine is the link between lulu and auron. In other words they just copied lulu and auron in one character and make it look female

Yeah, I threw a curveball for fun there. ;) I always wanted them to be Father/daughter, they just make the perfect combo... gruff old man, youthful and funny Yuna... seemed like a good father/daughter combo.
Got to thinking about this I don't think Paine is related to anyone in the game.

She does have a suiting look to be his duaghter but why would auron leave a duaghter... he clearly showed his only commitments were to look after yuna and tidus...
Even tho theres no credibility to this there is credibility against it.

Well yes i see that you have thought correctly and I am just making an opinion on something and see what others think of this topic. I also see your analogy with squall and cloud, however they are of no relations whatsoever. Aaron and Paine are in two separate games, yes, however the two games have a relationship due to how X-2 is a continuation of Final Fantasy X...I may have made this up and yes there are no evidence to backup this case, however I see it in relations to games and attitude. i think everybody's right, but hey paines as mysterious as auron so who knows? apart from officials obviously. paine is simply a mix between aurons attitude/strength and lulu's attitude/strength and a litte bit of sexy (as far as sexy goes with a computer generated chick) goth thrown into the mix. and she's good with swords, which makes her cool in my point of view.

Hm...I never thought about it that way...interesting. But I'm pretty sure the two are not related. But I can recall a moment where she explained why she joined.

Eh I suppose it's possible. There is no evidence either way and Aurons' history is kinda shrouded at the least. I don't think so though. If they had made aplot of them to being related why would they not put it in? And because they didn't put it in it's not true.....i'm contradicting myself aren't I?
