This poem is for the Valentine's Day contest.
Beautiful time of solemnity sweet
You my love, I wish to keep
Where have you been all the times I called out?
When I needed you the most, I've found you at last
The sound of your voice rings in my ears
Like a serenade that casts away all of my fear
Why is it when I look at you, my heart begins to leap?
You have me my sweet, I am yours to keep.
Today is the day that we celebrate
Let us come together and sing that serenade
Both of us here at last
The day we stand together is soon to come to pass
But maybe not just one
Maybe a few after that
Or possibly there could be many, many more that we will soon see, for I know our love will last
Beautiful time of solemnity sweet
You my love, I wish to keep
Where have you been all the times I called out?
When I needed you the most, I've found you at last
The sound of your voice rings in my ears
Like a serenade that casts away all of my fear
Why is it when I look at you, my heart begins to leap?
You have me my sweet, I am yours to keep.
Today is the day that we celebrate
Let us come together and sing that serenade
Both of us here at last
The day we stand together is soon to come to pass
But maybe not just one
Maybe a few after that
Or possibly there could be many, many more that we will soon see, for I know our love will last
