Name: Rhesus Amadeus Wolfbert Rhendossa IV
Age: Looks to be about 30.
Gender: Male
Race: Human

Eyes: Amber
Height: six foot, three inches
Weight: 175 pounds

Appearance: Rhesus is about six feet, three inches tall and weighs one hundred seventy five pounds. He has brown hair that is partially slicked back over his head. The rest of his hair falls over his forehead, around his ears, or on the nape of his neck. His animated bright brown eyes gaze at his surroundings with liveliness and interest. Rhesus has pale skin, mostly covered by cloth, and a tall, thin body. He had slender hand, good for writing, playing the violin, and casting nimble spell work.

Clothing: Rhesus wears long, fur-lined, white robes that trail on the ground behind him. For some reason, they never get dirty. The robes have silver embroidery on the edges, at the cuffs, and along the rim of the hood. A white stole hangs around his neck and to the front of his body, all the way down to the knees of the robe. Over his hands, he wears white silk gloves. Under his extravangant robe, he wears a white linen shirt and black slacks. Rhesus usually wears this robe for formal duties.

Weapon: Romulus Romanta - A pure white 6'6" staff, about two inches in diameter made from Mithril. Fastened on the tip in a mithril wrought hand is a huge egg-sized pearl. Runes have been carved all along the length of the shaft. At night, it is said that the Romulus Romanta glows in the dark, providing light.

Abilities: Although this spell caster has thousands of abilities and spells at his disposal, he only chooses to use a few, mainly because he can't remember them all...

Teleport: Rhesus folds the cloth of space itself, and with a whirl of his robe, he disappears, only to reappear in another location. This comes naturally for Rhesus.
Telekinesis: Self explanatory. The limit of Rhesus's power depends on the state of his mind. If he is awake, alert and focused, Rhesus can carry boulders with ease. At any other time, he'll only be able to carry light objects up to ten or twenty pounds.
Reshape: Taking any metallic object in his hands, Rhesus molds the metal in his fingers into anything he can think of. Swords, shields, etc. No laser guns or atom diffusers, though.
Animate: With a quick incantation, Rhesus can animate any life-like statue, humanoid object, animal-shaped thing, etc. These "golems" then serve as minions during battles. This comes in handy when Reshaping metals. After a while, these golems will revert to their original state.
Delving: Reading has always been enlightening for the soul. Rhesus holds open a book during battle, and depending on the type of book that it is, a different effect is cast. These effects are mild, but easily and quickly cast. Usually, this ability is not ideal in battle because books are not readily available in a battlefield, but when he has his hands on a spellbook, he uses it to his advantage.
Elemental manipulation: This is the reason why Rhesus is so dangerous. By molding the heat of fire to his bidding, he can expand, diminish, twist, move, reshape and extinguish any flame that he sees. Rhesus can summon winds, create small tornados, carry objects, and anything he can think of. Around water, Rhesus can directly reshape the mass, by draining lakes, freezing them, lifting quantities of water, shaping them into whatever he pleases, and creating ice statues. He can mold the shape of the earth, making rends on the ground, cracking boulders, erecting earth barriers, etc. With water and earth, Rhesus can create statues, then animate them into golems. With fire and wind, Rhesus can create missiles to launch at his enemies. He is a literal master of the elements.
Elemental conjuring: Rhesus can tap directly into the forces and essence of magic, to conjure any of the four elements. Fire, is easy to conjure, since it is already in an energy form, and therefore, does not need much conversion. Wind is simply a matter of displacing the air molecules around him. Since wind already does not have a concrete form, it is easier to summon than fire. Water is harder for Rhesus to conjure, because it has a corporeal form, therefore, magic must be converted into water. Earth, because it is rigid and corporeal, is the hardest to conjure. Not only does he have to convert it from magic, he has to create it into a shape that he had intended to use it in.

Personality: He's been revered as the greated Caster in Gaia... but his forgetfulness tends to supersede his fame. He has trouble remembering all the spells he acquired over the years, and he doesn't seem to mind it one bit; he's written them all down in a giant tome of his. Now, if he could only remember where he put that blasted thing...
Rhesus is a bit of a nutcase; he tends to forget that he is the Headmaster of a prestigious academy, and this results in awkward moments. Somewhat cheerful at times, downright scary when mad, but this is someone you'd definitely want on your side, through thick and thin.

History: He was born long before his time; centuries, to be more precise. His prolonged state of life is due to a curse that was placed on him when he was thirty.
While he was traveling on a respite from his Headmaster duties, he encountered a giant snake-like creature. It had been terrifying a small kingdom every full moon. Every month, the snake would enter the kingdom and swallow people.
Before he continued on his journey, Rhesus promised the king that he would rid them of the evil snake.
He was halfway successful. It was so filled with archaeic, evil magic that it could not be killed. Whever it would get cut in pieces, it would regenerate. It could not burn; it was immune to the elements. It was lightning fast; it was next to impossible to contain the serpent.
After a long and tremendous battle, Rhesus managed to seal its spirit into a tattoo on his back. It was the only way he could safely tame the snake. The tattoo curls around his shoulder blades and down his spine, ending at the small of his back.
This action did not come without consequences. Due to the tremendous amounts of evil energy, the tattoo had been slowly eating away at Rhesus's seal. Eventually, the snake would break free of the tattoo and terrorize the world once again. Meanwhile, the serpent's magic has placed a seal of its own on Rhesus himself. Rhesus cannot sleep, cannot gain nourishment, or cannot feel pain nor pleasure, nor can he die of old age, until the snake is completely vanquished.

Name: Franz Jacoby, aka Faux
Age: 21
Gender: Male
Appearance:
Once a person looks upon Faux's face, it is guaranteed that he or she will never forget one feature that stands out more clearly than anything else.
Faux has crimson red pupils, splotched and smattered with orange. They glow like embers in a dying fire, betraying the laid-back and relaxed expression that Faux wears. It's almost impossible to look at anything other than his heavily shadowed eyes, when looking at him. Many people often need second and third glances in order to look at other features on his face. After managing to divert attention from his eyes, a person meeting him for the first time would next notice a black mouth tattoo, traced on the center of his forehead, and partially obscured by black hair that hangs over his forehead. The mouth is curled up in a feral grin, revealing two sharp canines that seem to be glinting, despite their black color. Some people might be able to avoid flinching when looking at his eyes, but those who succeed will most definitely shiver when looking at his tattoo. Faux usually wears a bulky gray coat that reaches all the way to the ground. He will never unbutton his coat outside of battle, which in turn, is rarely worn without the collar fastened up. This is why most people only notice his eyes and tattoo; they can't see the lower half of his face because the collar is covering it. When Faux walks, no one can hear the silent taps of boots hitting ground because of the special padding on the soles. This is the next most eerie feature about Faux, it is difficult to detect him by sound. Most people have trouble suppressing their startled expressions whenever they notice Faux. Usually, the only sounds he makes is the solemn voice he uses when he talks.
In battle, Faux will open his coat, revealing an extra four arms. He dons a strange six-armed, long-sleeved shirt tailored to fit his build.

Personality:
It's difficult to place a personality on Faux; he doesn't talk much, he doesn't seem to have any friends or acquaintances and he doesn't appear to show any emotions. Most of his clients assume that Faux doesn't actually have a personality at all, which is why they prefer to hire him. In reality, Faux is a very polite person. He is the type of man who minds his manners in even the most dire situations, including the midst of battle. Faux's speech is often filled with words such as "If you please", "May I?", or "Pardon me". Many people don't really know what to think of Faux. He's a mystery even to those who know him best.
Surprisingly, the people who come the closest to knowing Faux's inner self are those who've fought him in battle. Faux's very battle style reflects his personality; manipulative, deceitful and tricky.

Abilities:
Hidden under the sleeves of his coat, Faux wears an innocuous pair of black gloves, with their fingertips cut off. These gloves help him with his abilities. Coiling and curling under his coat is an indeterminate (altough huge) amount of remarkably tensile metallic wire, the ends of which immerge from his fingertips. This obviously affects his movement; Faux can hardly move quickly at all, but in turn, he gains a most unique and terrifying ability.
Faux's technique is said to be inspired from a puppeteer. Using the wires from his fingertips, Faux pulls, tugs, and twitches his fingers, allowing him to manipulate the wires with a surprising amount of control. From this, Faux can use a numerous amount of creative maneuvers that trap, manipulate, or even strangle his enemies.
Release: The tips of the wires are weighted down with electromagnetic steel barbs. Using a strange mechanism in the fingers of his gloves, Faux can release the wires with a high velocity and launch them over any distance. Retract: Employing the same mechanism in his gloves if he were to Release wires, Faux instead Retracts wires, so they rewind back into his gloves.
Rotate: In yet another series of mechanisms in his gloves, Faux is able to spin the wires in either clockwise or counterclockwise directions. He can rotate them all at once, or independantly.
Harden: Inexplicably, Faux can harden his wires until they become remarkably rigid and stiff. It is somewhat difficult to bend these stiff wires out of shape. Applying the same principles. Faux can Soften these wires as well.
Flying Wire Drills: Using a complex combination of Hardening, Rotating and Releasing, Faux is able to create a deadly long ranged attack. He first activates a Rotating mechanism in one of his fingers at high speeds, without releasing any wire. While the motor is running, Faux Releases a long length of wire. Because of spin placed on it, the wire shoots forward in a tight-knit spiral at a high velocity. Once this is done, the wire is Hardened into a deadly spinning drill.
Clock Hands: Faux swings horizontally in a large sweeping motion towards his opponent, releasing five wires as he does so. The tips of the wires have been weighted down, so they have much more momentum. If the opponent attempts blocking this move, he or she will most likely end up wrapped in wire: Even when the technique is blocked, the wire will continue to rotate, using the opponent as the new pivot of rotation. The weighted tips will swing and wrap around the victim. This move is safer to avoid, instead of blocking.
Reverse Clock Hands: This technique is basically the same thing as clock hands, except in reverse. With his other hand, Faux does the same thing, in essence, a mirror image. Reverse Clock hands is usually done immediately after Clock hands succeeds, to further entangle the opponent.
Guillotine Dissect: Once his opponent has been completely trapped in both Clock Hands and Reverse Clock Hands, Faux Retracts his wires, dragging his opponent towards him. He will extend both of his arms forward at an angle, then lift his opponent in the air with the wires. He will continue to Retract, until the wires slice completely through his victims.
Pendulum Gallows: This technique is also used after Clock Hands; instead of immediately employing Reverse Clock Hands. After Faux makes sure
that his opponent is completely bound, he Retracts the wires until he is able to lift his opponent off the ground with the wires. At this point, Faux wraps one of the wires around his opponent's neck, then pulls upwards until his victim suffocates.
Marionnette de l'Araignée: This is an extremely deadly, yet risky ability that Faux uses in certain dire situations. Faux raises his arms and executes Clock Hands and Reverse Clock Hands, and makes sure that his opponent is completely caught. Once this is done, Faux Retracts his wires until his opponent is a few feet in front of him; at this point, he knocks his victim to the ground and plants his knees into him.
The most dangerous aspect about this ability is that Faux places his forehead directly on his opponent's forehead, and slowly begins sucking the life energy out, by means of the scar. However, while he does this, Faux is vulnerable to attacks. If the oppornity presents itself, Faux will drain his opponent's energy without all the preparations. Sometimes, he will simply use all of his hands to pin his opponent down, or other cruder methods.
Omniocculus: Faux discovered this horrifying technique while contemplating his newfound scar. With powers granted to him by a deity he encountered, Faux's vision, for a few minutes, is expanded to a full 360 degrees around him. His vision is still limited to objects within his line of sight however. Using this technique is both mentally and physically taxing, and will cause Faux to pass out through extended periods of use.

Attributes:
Because of an illness he had since birth, Faux does not possess much physical strength or endurance. He isn't particularily fast or agile, nor is he adept with any weapons.
What Faux is most developed in is his mind; he has an IQ of 242. He uses his fearsome intelligence and analyzing ability in conjunction with his wires. Average people would suffer nervous breakdowns if they tried to use Faux's wires with the same amount of skill.

Equipment:
The wires are made out of a strange metallic alloy that does not conduct electricity very well. Faux has taken the precaution of using this alloy because he knows that he would be extremely vulnerable to electricity otherwise.
Faux uses no other weapons or equipment except for his wires. All of his attacks revolve around them.
Giant Recluse: This ten ft tall, 400 lb mechanical beast was created by Faux's genius mind through a solid year of hard work and determination. It bears the form of a giant spider. Unoperated, it is harmless, but as soon as Faux steps onto the handling platform located on its back, the Giant Recluse becomes a veritable monster. By Releasing the wires from his lower four arms into the gears and mechanism of the Recluse, not only is he able to anchor himself to the machine, he is able to control 100% of its motor movement. Despite its massive size, Faux is maneuver this machine with surprising agility and grace. His upper two arms are left free to defend from aerial attacks or to control the harpoon located in the rear, protruding from the spider's abomen via an aiming/firing mechanism on the thorax.

History:
As a child, Franz Jacoby was known to be very frail and sickly. He was always picked on and bullied; he had no friends, and at the tender of seven, both of
his parents died of illness. Jacoby was sent to an orphanage to spend the next chapter of his life.
Unsurprisingly, the boy grew up to be insecure and twisted. He grew to love the feeling of control and manipulation over other people. It would be his
primary method of lashing back at his bullies. By tricking them and turning them against each other, Jacoby watched with malicious glee as they fell one
by one.
When he turned eleven, Jacoby happened to have caught the interest in a wandering scientist. This man was interested in the boy particularily of
his amazing IQ. He adopted him from the orphanage, then began experimenting on him.
After months of gruesome tests and experiments, the scientis finally achieved his goal of turning Franz into a lethal weapon. And instead of hating the man for turning him into a monster, Franz looked at his new found powers with awe and wonder. He adopted a new name to more accurately reflect himself: Faux.
Faux quickly gain a reputation as a rampant murderer. Starting from the age of twelve, he started a murderous lifestyle. Whenever he saw someone he hated, he would kill him. Whenever he was irritable, he would kill someone. Whenever he was bored, he killed someone.
These actions did not go by unnoticed by the Head Coucilman and magician, Rhesus Rhendossa. When Faux turned 21, Rhendossa saw to it that he took care of Faux himself. In a short skirmish, the Head Councilman overwhelmed Faux and destroyed the motors that controlled his wires.
From that point, Faux was incapitated. His wires were his joy and happiness; without them, he could no longer wreak havoc upon the society he hated so much.
In a mysterious encounter with a supernatural deity, Faux was reborn back into power: the deity granted him with two extra pairs of arms and then fixed and repaired his wires accordingly. It also marked him with a scar on his forehead, in the shape of a fanged mouth twisted in a feral grin.
Faux then devoted a year of his life developing his most prized accomplishment, the Giant Recluse. It is a manifestation of his crazed and obsessive desire to kill and slaughter.
