Percentage Help Please [FFX-2]

I have been following the strategy guide and am mow in Chapter 5, Mi'Hen Highroad. I was expecting to save at 82%, but only got 81%. I have not completed the secret maze yet. Did I do something wrong?

there are any number of reasons why you don't have that 1 percent, but if you've been following a guide then you should know they aren't 100% accurate all the time.

You could have missed something you were to do, have done something wrong, you could have even skipped a scene resulting in you not getting a percent boost for it.

just forget about using a guide because you are ruining the experience. just play normally.

Thanks for the reply. This is my second time through the game. That's why I was going for the 100%.

I believe there are more than 100 completion points available, so even if you miss one or two things, you can still get the 100%.

Hey i have ben stuck on this one part of final fantasy x-2 for months and i cant seem to get the right percent, am i doing something wrong. I have been following the strategy guide step by step. I am up to the begininng of Chapter 4 and it says that after doing a certain part of the begining of chapter 4 which takes place on the airship....that i should have exactly 63% but when i save my game i see that i have only 62% and i become frustrated...i have tried over and over but it doesnt seem to change, what am i doing wrong...i will never continue the game until i have that 63% because i want to finish the game with 100% so i can view the perfect ending at the end. Finalfantasyaddict, you could have made another thread rather then just feed off an other, but since you are here... there are a number of things that you can miss out and not get any percentage at all, example:

Calm Lands, (Gain peoples votes from all over Spira, also the Golden Chocobo)

Skipping scenes DOESN'T give you any percentage at all, so don't skip scenes it's bad for you.

You have to pick a side in Chapter 1, the Youth League or New Yevon, pick the Youth League so you can get 100%.

Yes. Thankyou for your help...i did choose to take the Youths League side because it will enable me to gain 100% at the end of the game. The point i am up to at the game at the moment is the end of Chapter 3 - Beginning of Chapter 4 and i am (according to my strategy guide book) supposed to have 59% up until this point.....and this i have :).....but when it comes to gaining exactly 63% i can only gain 62% and i am doing EVERYTHING right according to the book, this site and other people. I am not skipping scenes at this point or doing anything else that would jepodise me from getting less percentage. There is perhaps one reason why maybe i cannot get exactly 63%. In my strategy guide book..it tells me in the begining of Chapter 4 to speak to Shinra and watch the Crimson spheres, THEN after that go to the Deck and speak to Paine..this procedure is impossible to complete as Yuna cannot speak to Shinra except for a few repetitive lines and watch the Crimson Spheres. The only way to continue this part of the game is if you go to the deck and speak with Paine BEFORE you try speaking to Shinra and getting access to the treassure spheres. I have tried and tried to do as the book has told me and 'speak' to Shinra first but oviously i think there is a misscommunication in the book or a misprint or something coz it is absolutley impossible to do it thier way in the book. I dont know what to do..i dont know how other people with strategy guides finished the game on 100% and got past the bit i am stuck at...Please help...

Dude I know your banned now but...

It doesn't matter if you don't have that 1% maybe the guide got a misprint or something. Also there is more the 100% available in the game meaning you can get 100% and still not have done everything.

Thats kinda what happened to me, i followed the guide and it only gave me 92% compleation, however i didn't complete all the Episodes in the Chapter 5 because i got pissed off cause the thing at the bikenell desert wouldn't die!! so that coudl be why haha
