Storyline:

The story within Lunar The Silver Star Story focus's on a young man's dreams of becoming a dragonmaster, the gaurdian of the Goddess Althena, whom also controls the power of the four dragons. The game begins when Alex(the hero) is gazing upon the grave of the Dragonmaster Dyne, who is presumed dead after his disappearance and the only person who knows what happened back then refuses to talk about it. This grave, or monument, contains a sword, with is supposedly Dragonmaster Dynes blade. Alex, is daydreaming about having his own adventures and protecting the goddess as the dragonmaster with his friend Ramus and his foster sister Luna. Unfortunately, excitement and adventure are hard to find in the small village of Burg, but an unexpected turn of events is about to open a world of adventure for Alex.

That pretty much sums up the storyline, here are a few screenshots for your eyes to feast upon. In actuality, the graphics aren't half bad for a 1993 game being remade into a 1999 PS title.

During certain events in the game, anime clips are shown, displaying environment and character in a new grace, much betteer than original game form.

My favourite character would have to be Nall. Nobody is quite sure what Nall really iscduring the beginning of the game, but most people assume that Nall is just a white cat with wings. Even Nall himself doesn't know exactly what he really is, but he's certainly no cat according to himself, even though his obsession with fish is quite strong.

Does anyone else own/play this game?

PS: This can also be used as a discussion for the entire series, it's just I haven't completely played through Eternal Blue yet.

I never played this one, but I had Eternal Blue sometime ago. That was amazing and I adore the anime cutscenes, so lush. I also have Lunar: Dragon Song for my DS, which Im loving every second of. The Lunar series is stunning and brilliant.

I'm currently watching White Knight Leo make a fool of himself by dressing up as Mystere, the wonderous savioure of the party. *chuckles*

Eternal Blue really is a great game, everthying is so lush :P

I really enjoy the voice acting, Square should follow their example.
