A couple questions

I had a couple questions I've been mulling around and just thought I'd post them now since I had the time. My first question was to when the new layouts will be finished, as in the pre reset ones. Im pretty sure Chao does those so I realize he's probably busy if he hasnt done them already, but I was just wondering. My other question was to when the option for presetting up your font and colors for quick posting would come back, I like having my own custom post color but hate having to change it everytime. Just a couple questions for whichever moderator runs the help desk.

from what i understand, a skin will be the last thing to be installed becuase there are still hacks which need to be installed. things like colour and font is on the list and should hopefully be installed within the next day or two with several other features.

What Saberblade said, coding the hacks into the forums would be the first thing on the agenda. I think once that's cleared away, the layouts will start forming.

I've come bearing another query. I was curious as to what the stars under everyones name are there for, keeps me wondering, I keep thinking I did good on a vocabulary test or something.

stars are just a bonus for posts. the more posts you have the more stars you get. get enough stars and you get a new colour.

And the stars varies by every one hundred posts, am I correct?

I think it would be cool if they worked similarly to the rep, and when you hovered over them something came up. I've seen the star thing in a few forums and thats what they usually do. In fact, I believe that Cloud's limit-break is incorportaed into the feel of it somehow...

I can add it if you want, we'd just have to come up with suitable captions.

If I remember correctly, Rag once vouched for members to come up with such titles and captions for the reputation system. It worked out pretty well (despite some hilarious moments), so we can always do it again.

I think at this time when reputation is low, we don't need reputation names, I think until someone hits 500+ is when we should be worried about it.

Hate to start getting impatient, but when will my favored dark layout be back, I miss it. Any updates to soothe my worries coming anytime soon?

Well if Rey is willing, I would re-make it again, but that's up to Rey and Ariel.

We have the old one still. It's just not being used until everything else has been sorted out. Layout's are the last thing on the agenda right now.

I prefer the lighter theme, it is a bit easier on the eye.

Well the layouts are optional, after all, theres a much prettier light theme and a light blue theme to choose from as well
