Hey everybody, what were your favourite games from when you were little kids with your first Commadore or NES, now I'm talking about the classics here. I resently downloaded Lemmings for my phone and dug out my gameboy and played tetris and some other random games. Come on remind me of those good old games fromback then!

Playing on my cousin's copy of Sonic 2 was what first got me truly hooked on console gaming. I was in love with that game.

Before that, though, I was still playing games on my Atari and other ancient machines. I think it was on the Amiga or BBC that I played a black and white game called Titus the Fox, as well as a wonderful text-based adventure thing called "L". Then a few years down the line there was Wolfenstein and Zool on the PC. And on the Atari I had most of the classics - Space Invaders, Asteroids, Donkey Kong, Tanks and Keystone Capers to name a few.

My first console was the SEGA Mega Drive which I loved. I had Mickey Mouse's Wakey Adventures and Rocket Knight Adventures at first which were great games, I also had Football Italia 90 which still had Gary Liniker in it! Also had the fantastic Mortal Combat, the original still being the best in my opinion. Plus I have the first two Sonics, great games - that old fashioned arcade style of gaming.

Still have all of them and get them out every now and then to play them every so often. Good times!

The first console I ever had was a commordore 64.
Had a wide array of shit but fun games. All I remember from it was a Ghostbuster's game, Some one involving bike tricks, think it was called kickstart, edd the duck and of course the ever fantastic pacman.
The ones that give me best nostalia though are from me old sega megadriveCD and me SNES. The first sonic the hedgehog game was the first game I ever completed (with all the crystals, i was proud as fuck..well i was only about 6 or somethin) and I remember getting Super Mario all stars for christmas one year with a snes. Good ol'd santa....bloody adult liers.

Oh, so many to choose from. The NES had a vast numer of titles that I loved and played to death, titles like Bubble Bobble, Contra, Super C, Guardian Legend, Super Mario Bros. series, Metroid, Mega Man, the list goes on and on. I can't just list one game in particular and I can't possibly list them all.

Oh, God. Well, there was Sonic 1 and 2, and Paperboy, and Gauntlet, and Pit Fighter, and Tetris, and every old Mario I could get my hands on. Them were the days. Then there was Mortal Kombat 3 (the first game I ever stayed up all night playing), Desert Strike, Streets Of Rage2, Alex Kidd, Digger T Rock, and the one, the only, Road Rage.

I'd play all of them again, happily.

My first console was a Sega Genesis with my all time favourite game, Shining Force. It's a wonderful tactic RPG with fair graphics and gameplay to die for.

The story isn't half bad either. I enjoyed all the playable characters, and the world map that you got to explore. Aswell as Shining Force II.

My first console was the NES and I don't remember many games from that era. I loved Bubble Bobble, the Lolo games, the tank war game, circus, Contra, the Mario games, Faxanadu, ...

I also have quite a lot of memories with my SNes which I used to play with my friend all the time. I remember Ninja Turtles: Turtles in Time (not sure of the title), The Legend of the Mystical Ninja, SimCity, Super Punch-Out, Super Mario RPG, ...

So many great games that I would still like to play.

I can't remember exactly what my first game was, since videogaming and my childhood are intertwined with one another and it's hard to tell where exactly my gaming hobby was born. I'm thinking that my first console was an NES, though I can't be absolutely certain. I remember playing a lot of Blaster Master, but there were probably games before that, such as Mario Bros. and Zelda.

The NES was the console I remember getting me hooked. I started off on an Atari I think, but I was young.

The game I remember being in love with was Mega-Man. Then when I learnt of the wonders of the Megadrive it was Sonic, Golden Axe and Dynamite Heady. Around the same time my step brother brought his SNES around alot so I played alot of Mario and Donkey Kong.

For NES I'd say Dig Dug 2 and The Legend of Zelda. For the SNES, I'd immediately go with Chrono Trigger, FFVI, and Super Mario World.

I loved my Sega Master System, sadly I didnt have the one with Alex the Kid already installed. My friend did and I enjoyed playing that. I loved playing Sonic, Double Dragon, Spy VS Spy and The Lion King on my old Master System. My mum sold it in the end for some reason and Ive seriously never forgave her for it cause getting a decent Master System in the shops is really hard.

I also enjoyed playing The Secret of Monkey Island on my cousins PC :D Everytime I visited them I had to play it, and I only managed to get a copy last year from my boyfriend who had the same copyfor over 6 years. But its now gone missing in our apartment:(

Jaws is probably one of the most fun games I've ever played for the NES, with Mike Tyson's Punch-Out a close second. I never did get to defeat Mike. . .Come to think of it I never beat Jaws either.

Wai Wai World FTW on the original NES. Why doesn't Konami include it in their classic collection compilations?

I distinctly remember my first game being Megaman II. I was never able to beat it when I was a kid (Heat Man, Quick Man and Dr. Wiley's castle would kick my ass). I remember I'd have to pee but not want to get up, and I would dance back and forth while sitting down. My mum'd always be like "Why are you dancing?" and I'd say, "Because I like the music."

It was only a half-lie. I really did like the music.

I started with NES, and since then my fave games have been Super Mario Bros, Zelda, Punch Out, Metroid, pretty much most of what you hear for NES games, and Duck Hunt, ha ha.

SNES is the basic Mario World, Donkey Kong, and Zelda, Super Metroid, with others, and Sega had Sonic, nuff said.

There's more, but most of it has been said, Mystical Ninja for N64 was good, Ocarina of Time, Mario 64, tons of good stuff.

Back in the day, things were different, Crash was fun, Spyro, Sonic, all good fun, today, not so much fun...

Oh dear. I remember playing lots of Mendel Palace for NES as a kid. And some Sesame Street shape game, hell ya. I also adored Excite Bike and Duck Hunt. NES ftw.

Uhm, Hmm, I also enjoyed Clue for Sega Genesis. I used to play that so much.... >_<.
