I have a piece of constructive criticism for you: STOP MAKING 'MUSIC' VIDEOS.

All you're doing is putting 6 or 7 FMV sequences back to back and then playing an unrelated, unsynchronised song over the top. The biggest insult of this video is when the FFVIII ballroom clip kicks in. There is Squall WALTZING to an energetic song, yet the song you put over the top is at its slowest and most melancholic point. Nice going!

I never get why people make silly Final Fantasy music videos, but I at least recognise things that they synchronise. It seems all you've done here is made a fool out of yourself.

I agree with it. I mean every idiot could have done that. If you want to make really good videos you have ALOT to learn and I'm serious. That was probably the worst video I saw till now

It is pretty horrendous, though. It's not so bad if you maybe mute it and watch it while, say, your attention is focussed entirely on something else, like reading a book. But otherwise? Hideous. Horrible. A waste of pixels. A stain in my browser's cache.

But yeah, constructive criticism. Given that you've now authored the worst video it's humanly possible to make, you can take some solace in the fact that no matter what you do for your next production, it can only be better than this. Maybe you should take some ideas from Squaresoft's own videos, like those trailers for Kingdom Hearts 2. Have lots of words flash up randomly in different fonts. Write some of them backwards for variety, and so that people have to pause the video in order to read them. If you want to shoot for a more high-brow audience, you could even toss in some really profound and philosophilogal lines about Hearts and Dreams and Destiny and why it's not a good idea to get Darkness on them.

In all seriousness, though, I think you should just have a bit of a think about who would take time out of their day to watch a lengthy video that doesn't really do anything interesting with the footage and music it involves. These things are ten a penny on most forums, so if you're going to take the time to put one together, you ought to do something with it that makes it stand out.
