Name: Ersatz Ronso
Age: 16
Race: Ronso
Class: White Mage, Staffier
Weapon: the Largo - a plain cobalt lance with a vivid plume of feathers tied at the faulchioned end.
Appearance: Unlike the cliche male Ronso, Ersatz is not your hulking, muscle-bound Blue Beast. He's actually on the shorter, lighter side, with a form that has been tauntingly noted as "feminine." He wears a loose canvas smock and pants to (vainly) try to hide his undeveloped form. His skin seems to have a dull red sheen in the right light, and his long, razor-sharp horn is as true a gold as his piercing eyes. His fluffy, snowy-white hair is kept in a long, flowing ponytail decorated with feathers matching the purfling on the Largo.
Personality: Ersatz was always the shyer of the Ronso youth, locking himself in the Maester's studies and reading the days away; this is what prompted his knowledge of White Magic as well as his quiet, reserved character. On occasions, he will engage others in purposeful conversations, but a simple, friendly greeting is a rarity out of him. However, in the uncommon time of emotion, he has been known to turn to others and open up like a tulip to the springtide sun. Despite his seemingly calm effigy, he is always carefully calcultive of situations, and can even be inwardly paranoid. His devotion to those he does become attached to, however... that is a bond unbreakable even by the wrath of Bahamut himself.
Bio: As noted, he kept to himself throughout his youth, having been adopted by a passing human Maester from the Djose region. He was raised in an extension of the Ronso culture, where he was taught proper English (and Al-Behd), and the mannerisms expected of a Maetser's child. At the age of fifteen, he left his adoptive father a simple, apologetic note upon the hearth, took the Largo from its sheath on the wall, and left to take on the world... leaving behind naught but a single lock of hair, tied about the leg of a pianoforte.

Name: Vite Arabesque (pronounced VEE-tay ahr-rah- BESK)
Age: 21
Race: Al-Behd
Class: Machina Expert, Gunslinger
Weapon: Virgo Mk II - a gun he crafted himself, it draws on the nitrogenous qualities of the air surrounding it to fire short bursts of heated plasma-phase bullets. Very prone to overheating, breaking, backfiring, falling apart, and cussing its creator out in Al-Behd.
Overdrive: Valkyrie Reign - Vite mounts his personally-made Machina bike, the Valkyrie, and peels circles around his enemies, opening fire with micro-missile launchers, rapid-fire vulcans, and a sound-wave pulsator that has a small chance of inflicting Berserk.
Appearance: Vite is not especially tall, with a slim Blitzer's build. His hexahelix irises are a misty blue, his hair a fiery crimson kept in its mildly curly state. He prefers to wear the flashy red jumpsuits of olden Airship pilots, with his goggles kept perched upon his forehead, rather than slung around his neck. He wears a single metal-knuckled glove on his right gunslinging hand. He has been referred to as "cute," much to his chagrin.
Personality: Archetypal of your young-gun Al-Bhed, Vite is a care-free little tool with a hankerin' for fun, a blatant disregard for safety, and above all else, a metabolism that works at thrice the speed of sound to digest the massive amounts of food he takes in on an hourly basis (he's always walking around with something to eat in his free left hand, even in battles - it's a great curative vice!!!). He is generally bubbly, but every now and then, he comes out with a solemn word of advice, or a peal of Bahamut-esque anger.
Bio: Vite was a young-gun when Yuna brought about the Eternal Calm. He keeps most of his childhood to himself, feeling it is not anyone else's concern, but there's a definite sense of darkness about this fact. When people ask, he tells them that he left home (lower-cased) at 15 with his friend Smithy, headed for Luca and a star-studded Blitzball career. However, when Smithy made it into the Al-Behd Psyches on their first try at 16, Vite did not. Nor did he make it when he tried out at 17, 19, or 20. Each time he was offered no explanation, merely told to come back the next year. He finally gave this dream up, though not without a mountainous trepidation. He now roams about Spira, repairing old, beaten-up Machina and occasionally rustlin' up the odd fiend or ghost, calling himself the "Needless Warden." An interesting note: Vite keeps it to himself, but he has the guitar-playing capability to make a career out of it if he really wanted to; he just needs some loving encouragement.

Name: Blaine Wixtom Vikroft III
Age: 17
Gender: Male
Race: Human
Build: Very slender; shorter than average, rather frail.
Hair: Short and very curly; white as fresh Gagazet snow.
Eyes: A piercing, radiant blue, true as the waters that surround Bevelle.
Distinctive features: Blaine was branded with the Sigil of Yevon-Djose shortly after aquiring Ixion as his first Aeon; the mark was placed upon his left shoulderblade. Also, he secretly apllies a skin-tone powder to his right brow to hide a nasty scar given to him by a Fiend in his childhood.
Clothes: Whenever he plans to enter a temple, he dresses in the Noble Garb of the Yevonites; his long, flowing robes are electric blue, with intricate patterns about the cuffs and hems inscribed in a white as pure as his hair. The sleeves hide his hands unless he is summoning, sending, or casting spells, and the large lapels of the wardrobe hide his narrow chest even in the most vicious gale. On more casual days, he'll settle for anything that is A) skin-tight, B) white and/or blue, and C) appropriate for the region. The only thing he never changes are his hiking boots; he simply removes them within Temples.
Weapon(s): Upon completing his test at Djose, Blaine was presented with a staff from the Temple Priest. The cobalt rod stands several heads higher than Blaine, and is faulchioned at one end; that is to say, it is adorned with an intricate golden design that closely resembles the Sigil of Yevon-Djose. After a few moments with it, Blaine decided to call it the "Staff of Ages," though this enigmatic decision was never explained...
Blaine also carries a satchel full of mysterious gems, marbles, and other like trinkets, whose uses he has yet to discover.
Abilities:
(Overdrive) Double-Summon: Blaine moves through a complex series of waltz-like steps, weaving arcs of Fayth-enticed mana about himself. A vortex is soon created, and from this swirling mass of energies, Blaine summons two aeons at once. (Almost always, Ixion will be one of them.) This may at first seem like a staggering technique, but in fact, it has deadly drawbacks. 1) The two aeons summoned tend to butt heads for the first several minutes, at least when he first uses this technique, and 2) the amount of energy this takes leaves him completely crippled after dismissal.
Black Magic: Initially, Blaine is an ardent user of the Thunder and Thundara spells, but as he progresses through his pilgrimage, he masters Thundaga, as well as other basic Black Magic (Fire, Water, Blizzard), and the ability Ultima.
White Magic: Early: Cure, Shell, Reflect, Esuna. Later: Cura, the Nul's, Holy. An interesting note: at higher altitudes, Blaine's Magic Power drops significantly.
Other abilities/attributes: Blaine is weak to water-element attacks, but has the auto-ability Lightningeater instilled in the Staff of Ages. A very interesting note: he develops such a bond with Ixion that the two can fully understand eachother, albeit nonverbally. Were Ixion ever to be utterly destroyed... Blaine would not be able to continue.
Personality: Blaine is an incredibly shy little fellow, at least at first. He does not like to show his feelings, simply because he fears how others would judge him. In fact, the first people to ever truly break him out of his confined shell are his guardians... and Ixion. As he matures, he becomes more of a talker, and relaxes around others much more easily. He does tend to be frightened easily, and is always unsure of his own capabilites; even massive feats of power leave him feeling "incapable." However, as his story progresses, he slowly begins to accept himself as a capable summoner, mostly through the word of his Guardians, but also... through his own spiritual awakening.
Background: Blaine comes from the Isle of Bikanel, where he was raised by his mother for the most of his childhood. However, at the age of nine, Fiends raded the place and took his mother's life, as well as the lives of several of his friends. He was motivated from that day forward to somehow, someway, get back at the cretins that had so wronged him.
After the Raid, Blaine was taken in by a Yevonite Priest from the Mi'hen Highroad; Maester Nemaoch, as was his name, taught Blaine the refined art of Chocobo-riding, as well as his first, simple Thunder spell. Upon seeing the young man's prowess, he contacted the Djose Council and recommended that Blaine take the Summoner's Test when he came of age.
On the seventeenth day of his birth, he was dispatched alogn the Djose HIghroad with a group of guardians he'd never met, with the ultimate intention of earning himself an aeon, and getting back at those who had wronged him and his family... little did he know just how much that actually entailed.
