Final Fantasy 3 Help

Well this is an awesome game, except for one thing.

Why are there no Phoenix Downs? My two mages are dead and I need to cast toad on myself to get through that stupid tower thing.

But wait, I have no Phoenix Downs and you can't buy them, or get them off monsters, or steal them.

So help? People? Please?

Phoenix downs are rare, unfortunately. They're found in treasure chests throughout the course of the game.

Are you talking about the Tower of Owen? (Sorry if that's wrong, I can't remember the exact name...)

The only thing I can suggest is leaving, going back to a town and finding a Revival Spring. Because you will definitely need all of your characters alive.

Yeah I figured out what to do. No one told me that Castle Argus has like, millions of hidden passages.

Now I just need to find the items to untoad me then go back to Tower owen.

You can cast Toad on yourself to Un-Toad yourself.
