So it's becomming a popular trend for internet forums to have their own Wiki's that detail random shit such as drama that's happened over the years right down to pages with random pilarva about the members of the forum and everything in between?
So, do you lot want one for FFI?

I think it would pretty cool and funny.
So yeah :)
the single FFI wiki page has been brought up several times before and although i don't think we need a full wiki, it could be interesting for members to write content about other members so i support this idea.
I do!
And I volunteer myself to write about the FFI history (well, as far as I can remember) in the most un-biased way, since I'm not affliated with any group and/or cliques (official reason : I'm all for neutrality. Unofficial reason : no-one wants me :T_T: )

Definately, but it should be limited in some way. I can see it being abused by some of the idiots.

Well i wouldnt post in it but i know id have one of the worst wiki pages in it, i agree with Brotherhod though limit it to the ultimatly mature.
it should be limited to trusted, mature, experienced members
but hellz yeah main
Wiki allows anyone to edit pages, registered or not. if we could limit it to registered users who we can pick then it would stop a lot of people who'd take the opportunity to abuse it.
Well, it is possible with most good Wiki programs to block out certain pages from being edited by anyone except those with certain privledge settings.
I vote yes, and would suggest MediaWiki for reliability and style.
I vote yes, but I also think that whoever is going to update the site should PM a mod and also sign off on the site.

Sounds like a good idea, I'll have to see it to fully understand how it works though, may even post in it.

Most good Wikis keep track of who edits what; MediaWiki even saves backup copies of all of the previous versions of a given article.

I support the idea. Sounds very interesting... and FFI itself has a very interesting background. *thinks of old times* XDD
I like. <3

Can I see an example of one? If so, then I may be able to give a better opinion.

I can't see any harm in at least trying it out :).
I think it sounds brilliant. And seconded on Amry's input. It's about time we put him to some use.
If you do decide to go with MediaWiki, this plugin/guide (http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/VBulletin/Users_Integration) might be useful--it details how to integrate vBulletin and MediaWiki. ;)

If I get a write up in it that can inflame my massive ego, then yes.
Also if it lists the struggles of the laze crew agianst the evils of ffi in epic prose.
AND I want STRICT attention paid to me. I know I said this already, but it deserves repeating.
I vote yey. I also think Amry would do a good job, I'd also like to help out, at least lift my arse.
Is it going to be just FFI's history, maybe FFIXHQ as its own section of FFI History, as opposed to documenting it all that far back.

It's a great idea, so I vote yes. I agree with Eddie and Jack, Amry would be a great choice.
I say go for it. It sounds like it would be entertaining.
