"Final Fantasy won't be the same Final Fantasy anymore... Am I right or wrong?"
Before my comment, I'll place the facts that lead me to this.
[1]Square gone bankrupt because of FF:TSW (2nd biggest box office bomb in film history) and gone worst when trying to get money with FF:U (generic anime).
[2]Then rival Enix bought the yet respected names "Final Fantasy" and "Square", telling that it was a "fusion" (Square-Enix).
[3]The geniuses behind FF — Hironobu Sakaguchi (director) and Nobuo Uematsu (composer) — went out of scene...
[4]But they used a "Phoenix Down" (a financial backing from Microsoft) and are restarting from zero.
[5]The true "Square" today is called Mistwalker <www.mistwalker.info (http://www.mistwalker.info)>.
[6]Sadly, it's still missing the 3rd genius — Tetsuya Nomura (designer) — that keeps the work on FF.
[7]To fill this hole, Mistwalker asked Akira Toriyama for help...
[8]Note1: Who's fan knows that "Hironobu/Yuuji + Nobuo/Yasunori + Akira/Tetsuya = Chrono Trigger/Cross".
[9]Note2: But "Square-Enix" prohibited the remake "Chrono Trigger Ressurrection" plus ingnored monstruous petitions from fans <vizzed.com/ctremake (http://vizzed.com/ctremake)>.
With all this chaos and the antipathy that Enix always has put on FF (although they've made FFT and FFTA), I believe that FF's saga will lost the Square characteristics (lot of creativity, breathtaking songs, heroes with amnesia, etc.) to Enix's (advanced/complex gaming logic, zodiac and antichristianism, a "unicorn" hero, etc.) and will turn into a mere RPG with extreme graphics (and with that "Cid" guy as a bad char, to desprezate the nice "Cids" from Square's FFs).
So, do you agree with me? Does my preview make sense? Am I right or wrong? Is there something else that I'd know?
I'm accepting any comments from fans of Square, Enix, Mistwalker and Square-Enix games.
