actually I didn't hope that way. but if his mother already died, why zuko asked about her to ozai at the end of book three?

His mother didn't die she was banished, it made that point pretty clear! Probably for killing Firelord Azulan so Ozai could rule so as to save Zuko from his father who had been ordered to kill him.

The outrage had more to do with the irony of selecting a predominantly white cast, BUT filming in the East, AND requesting all the local AZNs dress in traditional yukatas and kimonos or whatever the hell we're supposed to wear.

I think this series was wonderful and the animation was great. Don't hate on outsourced Korean animation they are starting to release their own stuff...and it's good.

The fighting sequences were unique and very well done I think as well as the deep story. Most of the people that are knocking it haven't watched it or maybe gave up on season 1 which wasn't the best.

Well the movie is coming out and that’s based of the first book. So I think the issue with zukos mother might be resolved with in the movie chain (that’s what I think)
