Graphic Artist of the Month

To all of you who participate in SOTW and to any of you who post your work for us to see, I'd really like to start-up a 'Graphic Artist of the Month' feature within this sub-forum and I'd like you to be featured!

This is all going to be very laid-back and unstressful for whoever is being featured, so please don't worry about not having enough time to participate.

So what does it entail?
An online interview between you and I, or you and another member, regarding your graphic art. How you got started, what programs you use, what inspires you, simple things like that.
Anything else?
It'd be great if you could send me a few of your pieces - a mixture of old and new if you've been at it that long - so I can put together a portfolio for other members to browse through. No need to worry about getting anything hosted, you can send me the files in a PM or over MSN (whichever is easier for you) and I'll host it and put it together (you can chip in with any specific instructions).

Pretty much! Your portfolio and interview will be featured in a thread for all of the members to browse through. Hopefully we can get some discussion going in the thread itself - regarding your work or anything related to what was discussed in the interview - but if not, it'll just be a cool way to showcase a bit of your work.

So, if you're interested please reply to this thread. (Also, if you're interested in being an interviewer, just say so!) Feel free to add comments about anything else you think 'Graphic Artist of the Month' should include or not include! I'm open to your ideas.

hey this looks cool, t6 has a gfx pack coming out soon with like over a dozen new pieces from me, not released yet, but i can upload a preview of what i've been working on in 2009, that is, if you'd like to see.

Sure, if that's what you'd like to display, that'll work.

I'm planning on getting this going when the SOTW tournament ends - I'll be spending a bit of time figuring out what types of prizes people are going to want and what's possible...

So perhaps the end of June? To prepare, you might want to gather together 6-8 pieces that you want displayed. Don't worry about sending them yet, just start narrowing it down. Variety of work would be awesome, but if you have a large number of pieces that fall into a theme that'll work as well. Also, your work doesn't have to be limited to signatures - if you've done larger works it'd be really neat to see some of that too.

I apologize for the delay with this project. My life got a bit hectic after the summer.

I have a fair bit of free time now though, so stay tuned for updates.
Also, perhaps we can start up a few SOTWs for the holidays.

Well I dont know if I work on my graphics enough, or ever have done to be involved in this but I suppose it will pass the time, if I may.
