For those who like trival information, Rick Gomez (Zack) previously played Gippal in Final Fantasy X-2. George Newbern (Sephiroth) was in the same game as Nooj. Yuffie and Cloud's VA's are also from Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2.

Ah thank you SB. Nice to hear that Rick Gomez is on, I loved Gippal's voice. XDD <3

Cast looks so far so good. Also good to see Steve Burton and other familiar voices from KH on the VA list. [Yay!~ They didn't change it. ^^]

Gippal's voice was, and probably will stay my favourite voice in FF history, alongside Kimahri Ronso.

Rick Gomez plays the part well.

I really like the cohesive-ness Square is keeping in it's various titles (Same voice actors for AC/KH...)

I really hope that if they do make an FFVII Remake (which I still pray for constantly) they will keep this same cohesiveness... it really makes it feel more like one world, instead of several seperate titles...

Thanks To Lushs for the Sig and Av

24/04/06 is the offiical release of Advent children in the UK. It's on play.com

It has the cover artwork and the special features are all shown in its description.

there are :

Reminiscence of Final Fantasy VII: a video compliations of scenes from the original game to help viewers catch up on the storyline pre-Advent Children

Making of Distance

Sneak peak of upcoming games in the franchise including the eagerly awaited, Final Fantasy XII

Trailer

Now play only start showing the covers of DVD's and games when they know the actual release date, so we only have with in two months to wait.

PS. Amazon.co.uk also has the same details.

I mean the extras aren't exactly the same as the US release, but when did Region 2 and 1 release have exactly the same extras.

I know that you said it was false, but I have been keeping tabs on play and they did not have this info when you told us that the UK release was fake, but they have made the changes today which leads me to believe that this new info is correct.

just because Play.com has the date doesn't make it official. Amazon US got fed up with the delays and had a 2010 release date, that didn't make it real either.

unless Square actually comes out and say that April is the European release then for now it's got no basis in fact. i've also seen the US packaging for the DVD and the UMD (apparently from Sony themselves according to site they came from) and it's nothing like that. although it is a UK designed cover, it doesn't even say 2 Disc Special editon or even says DVD or UMD.

it is possible they'll do a joint release but if they were going to do that then they could have said in their statement.

Seems good. I prefer my movies subbed rather than dubbed though. I havent allowed myself to see some rubbish downloaded version (heh, I must be like the only person on here who hasnt seen it) so YAY, finally!

I can honestly say I dont know any of those actors that you mentioned, but it doesnt really make that much of a difference to me on animated movies anyway.

you're right, we don't allow illegal downloads. things like FF music and soundtracks in general normally don't released so it's not illegal because you can't buy them. the movie is different because the MPAA would be all over anyones ass for downloads.

I have checked every DVD mag and site for the UK and they all say that it is 24 April 2006 for FFVIIAC. I mean they must know something that we don't.

Eh, I guess I'll buy it. The price range seems right. I sorta expected it to come out later though.
